Quarantine Q & A

Q: “Did you think you would get married to your ex?”

A: To be blunt, no. I was very much in love with him at the beginning and obviously saw myself getting married one day. But every time I thought about sharing the rest of my life with him I got anxiety and knew that I would be settling for a life that I didn’t want. And I am not speaking financially. We didn’t share the same core beliefs that I think are important to have in a strong relationship. I had a lot of fun with him traveling but there were a lot of sad moments for me in-between. We had many issues and after many failed attempts and trying to fix them it was time to throw in the towel.

Q: “Do you want kids? If so how many?”

A: I absolutely want kids. I’m a natural born caretaker. I think how many just depends on when I get married (yes I want to do everything the traditional way), where I live, finances, etc. Right now I’d be good with 1 or 2.

Q: “Do you want to get married?”

A: Yes! I cannot wait to have a lifetime companion/teammate. I think that it would be such a blessing to walk through life with somebody that knows everything about you. When you’re in your 20’s you don’t notice this as much but as you get older health problems come, your parents get older, you realize how much being part of a team is easier than doing life all by yourself. Sure, it makes you more vulnerable. But is also means that you have inside jokes as well as someone who understands your pain. Somebody who simply chooses you every day.

Q: “Are you dating anyone right now? If not, how has single life been treating you?”

A: These are weird times. I can’t really say that I am “dating” anyone. Because we are all in quarantine. Am I interested? Yes.

As for single life…I have had SO much fun reconnecting with my friends and having more time to spend with my family. But I have never been somebody that likes to fill my calendar up with a bunch of random dates and random guys. I am monogamous by nature.

Q: “Do you have a relationship with your brother Josh?”

A: If I am being honest with you guys, the answer to this HARD question is no. I have struggled with this for many years now and I normally don’t answer this question on Instagram because I never really know what to say. I understand how important family is. And I would give anything to see Josh thrive in his lifetime. But I can’t make that happen for somebody. They have to want it for themselves. I believe it is healthier for me to not have a relationship with him at this time. So for the last 7+ years I have kept my distance. But I think about him every day, I love him, and if he ever really needed something I would obviously be there for him.

Q: “Thoughts on biker shorts? I’m 50/50.”

A: Love them. I have a pair of black leopard bike shorts from LNA Clothing.

Q: “Are you still in contact with all of your siblings?”

A: All but two of them.

Q: “Incline Village is one of your favorite spots, could you live there full time?”

A: I LOVE Incline Village. I think that it is one of the most beautiful places that I have been to. There is something so magical about Lake Tahoe that I cannot put into words. I really enjoy visiting my friends there but I could never live there full time. It is a little too small town for me.

Q: “What’s your daily skincare MUST have?”

A: My daily skincare MUST have is sunscreen. My med spa carries EltaMD and I have been using it religiously every day for about 3 years. I prefer the tinted because unless I am shooting content I don’t like to wear makeup during the week. I am very picky about what sunscreen I put on my face because I dont like most scents and textures of sunscreen, but this leaves no scent and gives a nice subtle glow. I highly recommend this product!

Q: “Favorite bra and panties for every day?”

A: I seriously wear workout clothes all day every day. So I always have a sports bra on. As for undies…I like something seamless so that you can’t see them under my workout leggings.

Q: “How much cardio do you do?”

A: I am not a huge fan of cardio. But I try to at least walk 10,000 steps every day with my dog to keep us both healthy. I think that a lot of people are under the impression that you need to do hours of cardio to get into shape and that is just not true. I find that the more I lift weights and do resistance training, the more lean my body gets.

Q: “What’s your favorite purse?”

A: I am a huge fan of the Chanel Boy Bags!

Q: “What is your most embarrassing story?”

A: Omg there are far too many to list. My most traumatizing one happened in college. I took the train up to San Louis Obispo to see some friends for a few days. This was years ago when there was a really bad storm. So we ended up getting stuck there for 5 days because the train tracks were flooded. Long story short after a night of partying I woke up on the couch next to my friends roommate. I tried to sneak off the back of the couch without waking him. Right as I stood up to climb over the back of the couch I noticed that I got my period and it was EVERYWHERE. And I will never forget him opening his eyes and we were both kind of just deer in headlights. I ran to my friends room and stayed there for 3 days until the train tracks opened up again. On the last day he poked his head in the room and just said, “hey is was really nice meeting you!!” Soooo nice of him but such a liar lol. I wonder if he follows me on IG. Anyways, that was my last time ever visiting. My other embarrassing story involves a trampoline and only 5 people know that story.

Q: “Is there ever influencer vs. influencer drama that followers don’t see?”

A: I have never had any drama with any other influencer. In fact, I think it is quite the opposite. We are always networking with each other and supporting each other any way that we can!

Q: “How are you keeping san during this time?”

A: Ah, this differs day to day for me. I am not somebody who normally struggles with anxiety. But I have been having good days and bad days like everyone else. I actually cried on Easter because I miss my family so much. I think the hardest part is not knowing a definite end time. And it’s not natural to be quarantined away from family and friends. But for the most part I have been reading, doing puzzles, cooking A LOT ( I feel bad for my dish washer), taking my dog on a ton of walks, and just FaceTiming with friends! I think this is a great time to work on our communication skills. We have a lot of free time to catch up with distant relatives and old friends.

Q: “Where do you get your furniture/decor?”

A: Most of my furniture is from West Elm, Overstock, and CB2.

Q: “How long did it take for your body to get the hang of Pilates?”

A: I always tell my friends that it takes about 3-4 classes to get used to the movements. You can start to see your body changing in 8 classes and after 30 classes you’ll see a new body! It is my favorite workout!

Q: “How many days a week do you curl your hair? (during normal times).”

A: I probably curl my hair 2-3 times a week. It always varies depending on how many events I have or how much content I need to shoot!

Q: “Are you happy?”

A: I try to ask myself this question every day. And the answer is usually yes. I like to write down a list of things that I am grateful for and a list of my complaints. Usually my list of GRATITUDE is heavier than my complaints. I also know that if I am having a bad day that it is only temporary.

Q: “Most people assume you are _______ (fill in the blank)."

A: Super outgoing. I think that I am a lot more shy in person than what people may think. But once I am comfortable around you I am the biggest goofball on the planet.

Q: “What is the one thing most people do not know about you?”

A: That I was in pageants growing up! I was Miss Teen California.

Q: “If you could one take three beauty items with you to a deserted island, what would be your must haves?”

A: Sunscreen, Chapstick, and maybe a hydrating face mask.

Q: “If not LA, where else would you live?”

A: I lived in LA when I was younger but I live in Orange County. I would move depending on certain circumstances. Never say never.

Q: “Do you have veneers? If so dentist recommendation?”

A: I get this question a lot. I knocked my two front teeth out in 4th grade playing football in the street. I basically managed to bite the curb. I have had my two front teeth done a few times but I actually just found out that I need to get a surgery to do some bone grafting due to it being fractured pretty badly. The dentist that I am seeing is the most wonderful human and I trust her completely. Her name is Dr. Sarah Winter and she is located in La Jolla, CA!

Q: “ Have you talked to Kara? Poor poor girl.”

A: I have no words. I text Kara when I found out. I am truly beyond heart broken and completely devastated for her and her entire family. I cannot imagine the pain that a loss like that would cause. She needs everyone to say extra prayers for her. Kara is one of the strongest women that I know and I love her dearly.

Q: “Whats your love language?”

A: Words of Affirmation, Physical Touch, Quality Time.

Q: “Would you ever want to be on another reality show?”

A: I’m not dying to be on another show. But if something were to come along that was the right fit for me I would of course consider it! Never say never!

Q: “Who is your favorite current OC Housewife? Does Vicki suck?”

A: I honestly haven’t watched the show in YEARS. And I love Vicki. I grew up with her around and I even worked for her at one point! I will always have a special place in my heart for her.
